Why we're building this
Commercial subcontractors and estimators lose real hours to the work of finding and sorting opportunities: crowded bid boards, project records missing the facts that actually drive a decision, and a steady stream of projects that were never a fit in the first place. The result is estimating time spent qualifying and chasing instead of pricing.
Subcontractor Leads is being built around a single idea — the go / no-go call a subcontractor makes when deciding whether an upcoming project is worth a bid. The goal is to surface fitting commercial projects matched to a firm's trade and market, with the scope facts up front, so that call takes minutes instead of an afternoon.
What the site offers today
We are prelaunch, and we will be plain about what that means. There are no live opportunities on this site, no verified contacts, no pricing, and no coverage to check. Matching has not started. What exists today is two things: honest, useful education about finding, evaluating, and bidding commercial construction work, and an early-access list that tells us which trades and markets to build coverage for first.
Several important questions are genuinely undecided — pricing, exclusivity, where opportunities come from, and when matching goes live. We would rather name those openly than paper over them, and early requests help us answer several of them.
The standards we hold to
The educational content here is written for U.S. commercial subcontractors and estimators, in plain, field-literate language. We do not fabricate statistics, invent customer stories, or publish "best platform" rankings that quietly rank ourselves first. Comparisons are criteria-led and neutral, named platforms are described from their own public materials, and we disclose our own prelaunch status wherever it is relevant. How we research and correct that content is documented in our editorial policy, and how we handle information is covered in our privacy policy.
Where authorship is required, it is attributed to the publisher, Subcontractor Leads. We do not invent named authors or an editorial team we do not have.
